Woodstock-based Professor Louie & The Crowmatix (shown right) first gained attention by being Rick Danko's back-up band on his 'Times Like These' album and shortly afterward on Garth Hudson's solo outing 'The Sea To The North'. The group stayed together, started to record and toured successfully after that.
The band's front-man and keyboardist Aaron Professor Louie Hurwitz, drummer Gary Burke, vocalist Miss Marie Spinosa, bassist Frank Campbell and tasteful guitar wizard Josh Colow will take to the stage of the New Colony Theatre and play an impassioned mix of blues, roots, Americana, gospel-tinged rock and boogie that will have an audience dancing in the aisles!
